Fracing Sound Level Prediction & Modeling

ENC uses state-of-the-art computer noise impact modeling software to help our clients make informed decisions about noise control issues. We can create an environmental noise impact model of specific compressor and production equipment and predict operational noise levels at nearby houses, parks, businesses, or other noise sensitive areas. We can evaluate noise mitigation options with the noise impact model to determine the most cost effective solution to various compressor and production related noise problems. Using the noise impact model, our clients have the ability to compare the mitigating effectiveness of different acoustical sound wall configurations and acoustical buildings.

Our compressor and production noise impact models are based on operational field noise levels measured by ENC personnel. Over the years, we have measured and compiled operational compressor and production noise level data from different size and style compressors. Using sound level data from specific compressors, ENC can make more accurate noise impact models and make recommendations on compressor and equipment positioning.
